Peter Gustafson is a seasoned investor and advisor with decades of experience in finance, investing and business ownership. He brings a unique, highly informed perspective to the world of investing, making him a trusted guide for anyone seeking to make shrewd, long-term financial decisions.

Peter holds a master’s degree in finance from Copenhagen Business School and began his career as a financial journalist at Denmark’s leading newspaper, Berlingske. He later served as investor-relations director for a major Nordic insurance group and chaired the Danish Investor Relations Society (DIRF). He was subsequently editor of Berlingske’s business section, overseeing the newspaper’s corporate and financial coverage.

Drawing on insights from discussions with leading CEOs, Peter founded PROSPECT in 1996 and grew it into one of the Nordic region’s top consultancies in financial and strategic communications. Over 13 years, he advised more than 200 CEOs, chairmen, and private-equity funds on M&A, capital allocation, IPOs, takeovers, crisis management, and investor relations.

Since 2009, Peter has focused full-time on investing in great businesses run by excellent management, achieving attractive returns and financial freedom.

Each year, he lectures in Omaha, Nebraska, Buffett’s hometown, at The Genius of Warren Buffett seminar, teaching investors and executives from around the world how to apply Buffett’s principles in practice. His experience forms the foundation for THE BUSINESS INVESTOR, which translates Graham and Buffett’s principles into a complete, operational investment framework.
